I’ve always loved photography. What started as me taking pictures of my friends when we would hang out has now turned into a cascade of opportunities in the photography and journalism field.

I started volunteering at a television station called CHCO-TV when I was fifteen years old, and that eventually evolved into a job as an intern reporter when I was 17. I have been working with them every summer since, and plan to do so for summers in the future. Recently, I’ve been working for my campus newspaper at Dalhousie called the Dalhousie Gazette.

These opportunities have brought me closer to the music scene than I would have expected. Through concert coverage at the Dalhousie Gazette, I discovered Inside The Scene, and I’m excited to bring my journalism experience into the music scene of Halifax through a series of video-style interviews hosted by myself called “In with the Band”.
