At Inside the Scene, we’re in the crowds, behind the cameras, and at the side of the stage because we believe in Halifax’s music scene—and the incredible artists and professionals who bring it to life. Through our photography and videography, we try to capture the energy, passion, and talent that make live music so unforgettable. Our mission isn’t just to document—it’s to support, celebrate, and make a positive impact on the scene we love.
Founded by Evan Wiseman in 2024, Inside the Scene began as a way to connect with and amplify the local music community. In this first editorial on our new website, Evan shares what inspired him to create the collective.
