Bill Ricky is an alt-country band from Halifax, Nova Scotia, serving up a blend of classic country heartbreak and gritty, high-energy rock. Fronted by songwriter Leigh Wills, their sound swings from tender waltzes to full-throttle, boot-stomping anthems.

Since their live debut in 2023, they’ve built a reputation for electric performances and raw storytelling, earning a feature in Exclaim! and packing dance floors across the East Coast. Riding the momentum of their self-titled debut EP, Bill Ricky is breathing new life into country music, one barn-burner at a time.

At the 2025 Music Nova Scotia Music & Industry Awards, Bill Ricky received the Country Recording of the Year award.
