ABOUT HAILEY
I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember. I used to paint constantly and even ran a photo account in sixth grade. I always said my dream job was concert photography, but somewhere along the way I convinced myself it wasn’t realistic. So I went to Saint Mary’s University for forensic psychology instead.
After attending my first concert in June 2024, I was completely obsessed. The lights, the noise, the way a room full of strangers feels connected for a few hours, I couldn’t shake it. Not long after, I brought a little point-and-shoot to Osheaga, and something clicked. I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since.
My first official gig came on October 18th, 2025, when I photographed the Loud Women Festival, and after that, I knew this was what I was meant to do. Even while still in school for forensic psychology, I always look forward to my music-filled weekends.
I aim to capture shows as authentically as they happen, not just the big, dramatic moments, but the real ones in between. I want my photos to feel like you were actually there. I’m a sucker for the close-ups: the quick smiles, the breaks in character, the second an artist pauses for a drink or locks eyes with the crowd. Those small, honest moments are what make live music feel human.
