Hey, I’m Haley!

I started taking pictures in high school after being inspired by my creative friends.

At 14, I photographed my first wedding on a little point and shoot. My cousin, a gifted photographer, took a chance and decided to “lend” me his Nikon D70. Spoiler: he never took it back, and I retired that camera 9 years later.

19 years have passed since that initial interest in photography sparked. After taking a BFA, Major in Photography from NSCAD, building a 50+ wedding portfolio, and photographing albums for local musicians, I’ve transitioned into concert photography.

My father was a beloved Nova Scotia musician, and I was raised on the stage and in the wings. After he passed in early 2025, concert photography has been a special way to keep that connection to him alive.

I’m still shooting Nikon to this day, and my favourite lens is my trust 35mm.
