Mel (Melissa LeBlanc) is a self-proclaimed music admirer and café wizard.

While completing her Master of Business at Dalhousie University in 2024, she fell fast and hard for the Halifax music scene. She has a day job as an Experience Specialist, where she builds out thoughtful and interactive experiences for teams tackling those big crunchy problems of the world. Melissa is always exploring ways to merge her passion for live events, community, and storytelling. Through journalism and photography, she aims to amplify and celebrate local creatives, events, and venues – everyone and everything that enables live music in Halifax.
